Learn More About Diane Lechner

I am a Class of 2000 Occupational Therapy graduate from Concordia University, Wisconsin currently employed as a Home Health Occupational Therapist and Hospice Massage Therapist in the Wausau area. In 2003, I received my Masters of Education Professional Development through UW LaCrosse. Following, I helped other educators perform research projects as a Facilitator for the MEPD program. I have previous work experience as an OT in school-based pediatric practice, home health, hospice, and rehabilitation.

I obtained my certification in craniosacral therapy work in 2010 using these skills to promote wellness, healing and sleep restoration with clients. My emphasis was using this modality with children who had complex medical, health or mental health needs. Additionally, I have successfully promoted healing and pain reduction with individuals who have Bell's Palsy, Occipital neuritis, hearing problems due to fluid in the ears, Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Migraine Headache, chronic eczema, myofascial pain syndrome, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia. I have special interests and skills in working with those who have chronic pain, connective tissue disorders including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, dysautonomia, and mast cell disorders.

In 2012, I graduated from Health Touch School of Massage and obtained licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a Massage Therapist. Additionally, I was formerly employed at Health Touch Spa School of Massage as an Anatomy and Physiology Instructor. Chrysalis Massage has been in business since 2010.

Diane now offers specialty disability services

I expanded my business into an integrative practice of massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, occupational therapy and professional consultation services. Combining services allows for a client-centered approach where multiple modalities can be used. (If the treatment desired is a skilled Occupational Therapy Service, a physician order for evaluation and treatment will be required).

I have additional coursework in: Sensory Integration, Emotional Freedom Technique, Craniosacral Therapy, Neuromuscular Mobilization, and Parasympathetic work (Breath-work, Autogenics, Progressive Muscle Relaxation), and Medical Based Massage. I specialize in working with individuals who have complex medical, neurological or mental health care needs.

Count on integrative approaches to enhance your quality of life

Understanding that we all have barriers whether physical, emotional, neurological, or environmental due to the daily stressors of work, life, and family; I strive to offer a compassionate and integrative approach to helping you achieve your personal goals and enhancing your quality of life.
